Can you see the epic Highway 1 we broke down o?

Do you see Highway 1 on the cliffs? Our van stopped running, possibly prematurely ran out of diesel as we were thinking we had another 40-60 miles with our calculations. Anyway, right when the car stopped, there was a place to pull over on the cliff side. What a miracle!! Right then, Joel drove up, a long-haired younger version of Skye. Long story short, he was able to get some diesel from a tiny local school on the cliff side he did maintenance at and we were able to share the gospel and pray for him and his friend, Soren.  Soren was definitely stoned but very open to us and wanted a Bible.  It felt like we were there for them. It was a beautiful thing all four holding hands and praying together next to our broken down van on these awesome cliffs.

Unfortunately, after they left the car STILL didn’t start so Skye had to go in the dark along the cliffs to try to find the one cell spot to make a call to our roadside towing. It was very remote and the most rugged section of the entire Highway 1!

At 1:30 in the morning Ricky showed up with a tow truck and towed us all the way up to Monterey, arriving at 4 AM.

We had that long stretch to pour into Ricky our testimonies, the gospel and love. The shop we came to this morning has no time until Monday so we have to get it towed again by Ricky to a nearby mechanic that can look at it today. Please pray that it’s a simple procedure to get the air out of the fuel line. And that Ricky is open to us pressing in about full repentance and baptism. God always uses these divine appointments for his glory.

This afternoon we had a second powerful (this time only 30 minutes) ride with our new towing friend Marcelo (Ricky)!  The first shop was so slammed that they sent us on our way, back on the flatbed tow truck, to West Coast Sprinter, 30 miles away in Salinas.  When we asked Ricky what he thought of all we shared, he said; "You really have me thinking about somethings that I need to consider."  Ricky knows for sure what his next steps are towards God and he was so open to us and grateful!  We gifted him with the TLR movie too! It was Holy Spirit led that’s for sure.

Tonight we are safe and about to sleep in our van in the "yard" at the mechanics. The van still hasn’t been started. We have parts ordered and hopefully they will be here by tomorrow. It’s a $2000 shot in the dark process of elimination but it’s all Gods money, His van, and part of His distribution of funds and work in the world!! Please pray for  us and the mechanics to get to the bottom of things. Some sprinter owners have lived on his grounds for three months!  I’m hoping this isn’t Gods plan. Lol 😂
