6/5/22 Nearby Monterey and Santa Cruz fellowship

We think we know the plans we have until God starts showing us His plans if we are available to it. So last weekend while in Felton, we drove down and had fellowship with two born again disciples from the Vista kickstart at their home in Monterey from Torben’s videos (Juan & MaryAnne).

The weekend after they got baptized 💧 and filled with the Holy Spirit 🕊we got to spend an amazing day with them learning about one another. They took us on an unforgettable tour of the cliffs and shoreline of the Monterey Bay, in Carmel we visited Clint Eastwood's personal sheep herd adjacent to his restaurant (Skye felt an affinity with the one black sheep in the herd).  They took us to lunch at the Carmel Valley Lodge where we heard their testimonies. Then, they took us to a beautiful hike and we had the chance to pray for total strangers discipling one another in Kingdom work. One young girl on crutches was going to have surgery soon and we prayed for her bones to heal and shared a mini version of the gospel and testimonies with Juan and MaryAnne sharing as they had Catholic backgrounds in common.

6/13/22 Fellowship in Santa Cruz.  Today we went to Santa Cruz to meet two fully born again women that we found through another brother we contacted on the Last Reformation map   We met Therese, her cousin Katy, their friend Deanna, a hair client of Therese's and one of her neighbors also came by. There were like 5-6 gals all in Therese's eclectic bohemian art gallery apartment and then Skye.  But he held his own as always. We prayed for Therese's hair client, who before that was listening while getting her hair done to all of us sharing testimonies from the harvest and she got healed of neuropathy! It had been in her toes up to her calves. She was so AMAZED and then we prayed for the neighbor that came over who was distressed over a job that she was needing to quit.  Later, at lunch on the bayfront, we prayed for a few others as well.

6/14/22 The engine STILL hasn't shipped from Florida. It was taken out last week, passed the inspection, but is waiting on a shipper to ship it. They say big parts like this can be a big deal to find a shipper who will take it.

6/16/22  We spent the last two days plus really cleaning and making beautiful our friends place we house-sat at. That’s the way us disciples roll!! We are excited for what’s next but a little sad to leave.

Yesterday afternoon we took a rental truck to where our van Rhino is to drop off some and get some of our belongings (you wouldn't understand this unless you were van lifers) and then we loaded up and strapped the bikes in the back. We drove a total of nearly three hours from a little town near Santa Cruz where we house sat the last two weeks, down to Salinas to get the rental truck, to the Sprinter van shop and back to the Santa Cruz area home to drop off the amazing Volvo our friends so graciously let us use while they were in Sweden.  The final step, we drove the truck and bikes over to Skye‘s sisters in the San Jose area. Do you like our hats promoting Juan's Just Brilliant Tile business? He does amazing work!

Today we visited Skye's 94 yr old father this am and returned the rental truck. Now we will be mainly on bikes 🚴 for the next bit! So glad I have some electric assist for all these hills. 😂

We just got word our engine got shipped yesterday from Florida 🙏🔥😆 (Praise the Lord) and then it could be up to two weeks to arrive and then another week after that to install it and get back on the road. Patience is key and trusting in our Abba Father’s plan!! 🙏🕊🙌

Therese and Katy want to go do outreach with us today in San Jose!
